Here are a number of reviews for short stories written by the wonderfully talented author MA Ray.  These all revolve around her Rothganar World.

In this short tale, a tree and a boy find love.
This story appeared on M.A. Ray’s blog, and in the collection The Dragon’s Rocketship Presents: The Scribe’s Journal.

Review:

What can I say…another great Rothganar short from author MA Ray. This one gives the reader more insight into the childhood of Dingus; things hinted at in Hard Luck. Great short.

Voalt is small for his age, but when he’s most needed, he comes through a hero. A chance encounter afterward convinces Bearach, Crown Prince of Shirith, that he can’t leave Voalt well enough alone.
This title contains two previously-published short stories, “Eagle Eye and the Worm of Shirith” and “Brother Fox and the Worm’s Bane.”
Review:
This edition contained two great short stories from the world of Rothganar, created by the very talented M.A. Ray. These stories give us some great insight into the early lives of Eagle Eye and Brother Fox. With each story the author publishes, I become more and more enchanted with the world she has created. I highly recommended this and all the other Rothganar novels and shorts
